Despite the joke that CG has one computer, there's lots of departments doing things unrelated to Malak. Artwork, unit design, ls geotb, etc. The art & unit design groups aren't going to be fixing issues with the Malak event. There's no reason for them to sit idle.
There's even a department that is looking for Dickenson's replacement right now.
