New Device Facebook Connect

Hey there. My son has a new iPad that has Facebook connect on it (works on my iPad, for example). However, when we sign in to the Facebook account on his iPad and start the game. It creates a new account with no device link options or anything.

I validated going back to Facebook in Safari and it's logged on to the right account. He's 13, so cookie tracking shouldn't be an issue. Any ideas?

Actually I think the issue is you are trying to use it as a log in.
    FB connect has 2 purposes.
Send invites to FB friends and move your account.
FB connect is not used the same way as Google/apple login.

Linking to Facebook won’t save your game progress. If you want to send Ally invites to your Facebook friends, connect to Facebook with these steps.

    Check

Follow the steps under "Move to a device with a different operating system"

Yes I know you are the same os on both but this is the only way to copy one guest account to another.

If the game account was created as minor, I don't think you can use FB to copy to a new device.

No not true you have a bug that needs addressing

  • Thanks for the replies. The issue was "Tracking". It's not 13, it's 18 before you can enable it and Facebook Connect will work.

I have the same problem and because it's no longer available due to company decisions, they want to make our like you were dreaming although the link ID to the game is on the Facebook account.
