I'm with you, I've been playing since the beginning. As I understand - essentially no one used them until they changed the system up.
My guess is they're trying this with this faction becuase, while highly requested, it's still a very niche/fringe group in the SW universe, only a select few are going to get up in arms over NS and Ewoks. So, I assume this is a test to see how it works before release more mainstream toons the same way. People are going to let it slide, 'because' and by the time someone more important is released the same way there will be precedent.
