From what I gather: (a) It's a co-op game with your guild. Everyone can participate and, most notably, everyone that participates gets the same rewards.(b) It sounded like it was more guild vs environment than guild vs guild. i.e. It's a co-op mode with your guild, not a competitive mode against other guilds.
Anyways, that's what I took from it, so it seems like we should all get to have some fun.
Yeah, I think the key is going to be whether you are in a guild with lots of players with deep rosters. Sounds like progression in battle fields will depend on whether guild members have the requisite toons needed for a particular area.
So guilds with players who have a wide range of factions will have an advantage.
