Also, why are you playing somebody that is like a 'gnat on the windshield?'   It's not a GP difference that makes the match up one-sided.  A lot of players are very adept at GAC and have moved up divs/leagues so much, that they're punching (and competing) well above their GP weight.

The only reason you'd be playing 'gnats on the windshield' is if you have been inactive and have fallen into a league where you're far too powerful for the average player.  In which case, this is a self-created issue.

Well, in a lot of cases this wouldn't really work.  I'm 13 million GP and let's say I agree to play somebody with 2 million GP.  We agree that it'll be a 1.5 million match up. 3 teams on defence, 3 on offence.  They take what will probably be a few relics, and mostly gear 10-12 characters.  I take 6 GLs at 52k-55k each.  Then fill the 6 teams with the cheapest characters I have.  Even if I allowed the other player to use all 2 million of their GP and I take 1 million GP, It'd be one sided.  Even if you gave me 500k, I'd still win comfortably (probably).

GP is a very poor PvP match maker.

I invest a lot of time and materials into modding.  What is my incentive to do this?  I don't want to re-mod, I want to use the mods I've spent years farming, I don't want to spend currencies on something that's just for one environment.

However, with all that said..............you might be in luck.  There is a new PvP game mode coming that makes being a long term or new player irrelevant.  It will be an ERA PvP mode.  New and old players start on the same foot.  Bear in mind though, it'll be very P2W orientated.
