New gear, whether it be adding currently obtainable pieces or entirely new pieces, is an opportunity to address concerns in the meta. Wedge and Biggs have been around for a long time, and they’ve taken their turn (and then some) in the spotlight. In order to promote a changing meta that keeps the game interesting and engaging, gear choices were made to curb the “Danger Zone” duo’s impact on the upcoming G12 meta. While we can appreciate an affinity toward characters already acquired and maxed, the game would get boring if the same old characters were always viable.
Do not be dismayed, though! If these characters are working for you now on your particular shard, you still have time to get use out of them before G12 becomes more prevalent.
