Oh and the way mods are upgraded has already changed. I had a green piece with speed secondary. I tried to upgrade it to boost the speed before the mod change, but nope. I went all the way just to see and speed never got a bump.
So mod upgrades are changed but the slicing isn’t in effect. SO DONT UPGRADE - @RufusDogbreath that was outlined in the update. Here:

Unfortunately I didn’t see that and I don’t think that info was conveyed in the in-game email. I may be wrong.- Well the upgrade thing we all knew about. It's a 25% chance for any mod now to upgrade a stat. So when you upgraded a stat underneath did get upgraded, but the issue is that as I understood it let's say you have a level 1 green mat. It should show all the 4 possible secondaries, but right now it's not. It's only showing the single one. However when you upgrade one of them will get upgraded 4 times. The problem is on green, blue and purple mods you won't see all the stats that could be upgraded. So I would recommend upgrading a green mat to level 3 and see if it jumps. If it does you lucked out. If it doens't jump then it means one of the underlying stats is getting bumped and you won't know for sure which one until you reveal it. Kind of dumb liek taht in my opinion, but likely something that will be resolved once all mod changes are rolled out.

@RufusDogbreath i'm not sure about the in game message.
either way, nothing that can be done now. they gave us the heads up to upgrade earlier if we didn't want to be subject to the new system. now all we have the new system.- This thread is painful to read...
1. "Bonus" doesn't equal "Double". These are Bonus because it's something you wouldn't get otherwise.
2. Just because you spent 200 energy (or any number) doesn't mean you'll get something. 200 is a max of 16 hard node battles (lowest is 12 per attempt I think). That's not a big sample size. Those saying they did multiple refreshes on Sion or Zombie nodes, that still isn't many battles (20 energy per attempt). Is the drop rate amazing? No, but it probably isn't as bad as your anecdotal evidence suggests. (People having good drops probably aren't on her complaining about how bad it is).
3. Those saying "increase drop rates so whales don't get ahead" are just plain silly, I'll let you figure out why. (Hint: The amount of energy they can buy isn't dependent on drop rates).
4. It's been less than 24 hours AND this isn't the actual place we will be farming materials. Let's see if drop rates are better on the actual nodes (like reinforcement mats).
5. Even if this is the drop rate GOOD I don't want to see 6dot mods flying around that fast (also remember we are getting materials added to some raid rewards). - 5 sims after 1 refresh: zero I learned my lesson. No more
