I made another alt the other day, just for funsies (all the others I made I just abandoned lol). Just got to arena this morning, started 7kish, won a battle today and got to 6200. The issue? Top 6 teams are L27 L3 lead (lol?) with a L63 GK, 2 bast L61 and L65s, a L1 Rose lead (also lol, but irrelevant) with L65 traya, and a L63 Traya triumvirate with dooku and dbast, all starred up too (Sion 4*, dbast 6*, rest 7*). CG has to change the unlimited energy stockpiling and allowing guild parking. I mean, at least I know about the energy thing and chose to ignore. Imagine you are a n00b who likes SW and gets the game, plays for a while and then you realize you have no hope of ever catching up to the top of the shard that supposedly everyone starts out the same on.The only possible reason I can think of for CG still allowing this is that they are counting on existing players starting alts and spending money, and hoping to sucker a few n00bs into massive spending in order to try and get up there in arena. That seems unsustainable to me, which is why it is the only thing that really worried me about the "state of the game" and its long-term viability. tl;dr the energy stockpiling before arena shards open is a real slap in the face to n00bs

For people who are playing normally they don't understand 95% of what you are saying. When I started I didn't know about hiding in a guild to farm Traya or Kenobi, or hoarding energy or any of that. Once I hit arena I played expecting to finish low because I wasn't spending any money. I think this could be a problem, but for a majority of new players it won't be because it's all foreign to them

It’s a lot more than just the raid characters - think of the gear and guild currency you’ll build up while waiting on the shards. It’s the only thing you can do to progress your account that doesn’t award XP.If they really wanted to fix it? Make guilds unlock at a higher player level than arena. They’re close already. ?♂️

New player issue, this needs to addressed.

Then, when they finally allow themselves to qualify for arena, they immediately dominate as of course no one playing the game normally can be anywhere close to having those toons or being able to beat them.

It’s the only thing you can do to progress your account that doesn’t award XP.
