Anyone playing the new raid in manual mode?I tried for a while...got bored quickly, can't really see the sense...so i deployed the best teams i could find and pressed auto...What am i missing? Is there so fun hidden somewhere? Is it worth the effort?(I am really asking...i feel i am missing something obvious, but this raid seems so boring that i am thinking it has to be me doing something wrong)

I honestly tried to manual the first few attempts with one of my teams, but after retrying to get a better score just put it on auto, and what do you know, the AI did just as well. So from then on I just used auto and got scores to be more than happy with. The issue for me is that there's too many new mechanics involved, all dependent on toons and their modding. If there were only two or three ways to take out the enemies rather than four, and maybe scrap the jamming altogether, it would seem much more manageable for a game mode that's only going to be around for another 8/9 months (at most, Krayt only had 6 as featured raid). Learning the new kits for potentially 24 toons with four mechanics for taking out enemies on top of everything else in SWGOH is just too much of a stretch.

The raid news announcement should have had a TL;DR at the bottom, just press auto

Yep - boring AF. I hit auto after realizing it's just a button mash in the first battle. Only reason to pay attention for now is to make sure 3PO doesn't die. Major fail of a raid.

I'm sure someone put a lot of effort into creating this new raid w/ all the funky mechanics and are incredibly proud of how creative they were.
And then we tried it & hate the overly complex nature, LOL.

Tried auto, mostly, and get wildly different results. Tried manual and did the same or worse. We have run this raid twice and, generally, I have wanted to punch myself in the face each time. I want to do well mostly for more mates but it’s boring AF and comically low rent.
I appreciate that they wanted to try something new but this is not fun. Graphics are hard to look at….Can’t believe we have to do this weekly for months. It’s not good content. Sorry.
