This argument is getting tiresome. 3 months from now or a year from now you’ll need r9. If you have 10 r9s now and win every single tw it’ll be pretty close to 2027 before you have enough r9s to do your fair share of operations and have enough to fight each combat mission. Of course you won’t win every single tw nor do most even have the mats for 3 r9s.
On top of this, the missions were completely unremarkable in p1. I assume they’ll be just as boring the rest of the way.
I think it's fairly obvious that their goal was to give us a goal and something to work at for a while. R9 isn't always going to be the unobtainium of SWGoH. They'll eventually make it easier to reach (probably after R10 is introduced) and players will have more access to the resources needed to get to R9. I'm pretty sure droid brains are available in weekly shipments now, which is the only way I've had access to these mats until very recently. So they've already made at least one move to ease that pain point. More will come.
The argument may be getting tiresome but that doesn't make it less true.
