Not interested in talking to Tellithowitis anymore after one more comment (below this), but just FYI the MAW guild MAW Aurodium did not get 48 stars.

They got 48 Reva shards.

That's the record that they set. They aren't nearly so far out in terms of star count although I don't remember off the top of my head what their star count actually was. I know it was low to mid 30s, but not the exact number. They did not come close to 40 (much less hit 48) in star count.

I simply care about the strategy and outsmarting my opponents in Pvp rather than feeling the sense of accomplishment for getting something new after tons of hard work, that's just me tho

Right. So you don't want to do lots of hard work, you just want to win by outsmarting opponents in PvP.

That is possible without getting even a single GL. Create a new account, get in a new squad arena shard, and go nuts beating people in PvP (both squad and GAC) through your smarts. Don't attempt TB at all. When the meta gets too much for you because other people are participating in TB, then either spend money or dump your account for another new one and start over.

TB is not required to get PvP wins. This is what I mean by find your own fun. If outsmarting PvP opponents is what you love, then go outsmart them. Talking here on the forum only allows careful readers to pick up on your brilliant ideas and use them against you.

And guess what! Now r9 is no longer required because you're not attempting anything that requires it. Congratulations! You get everything you want and nothing you don't want.

Although I'm sure you outsmarted me and figured out this plan on your own long before I suggested it.
