WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK CG? R9 minimum to just play phase 5 and phase 6?? I don’t know 1 person (not even Mr whale himself ahnald) who has a full r9 team. It’s a complete waste. Not to mention extremely hard to get with your current system.
Relic minimum everywhere else: cmon cg why. Let us use our r3 toons and lose if we want to. It’s not gonna hurt anything. GL’s in platoons: I hate it but am not mad at all about it compared to the other stuff so sure keep them in. Did I miss anything? Oh yea I did: You didn’t directly say this but u basically said ur gonna r9 ur whole squad and god mod them and still not win. Thanks CG, that’s definitely what we want

I am just under 9M and I have 39 combat waves completed atm. I dont know what you’re doing with your roster…
It’s easy to get waves in P1 and if your guild stays in P1 multiple days I’m sure you can do the same battles over and over and boost your wave numbers if that’s what you want. How many full R6 teams do you have at under 9 million?
8.8m, 25 waves, and we're currently at p3 for ds and mixed. Checked the mixed p3 combat, got 38 toons available, so that makes 7 teams. Teams with synergy, I'd say 3-4.
Okay, I'm going to say I was wrong in my pre-TB criticisms about required relic levels.
From what I had read before, I honestly thought you could only pick one path for one TB period. This led to the logical conclusion that I'd have nothing to do on days 4-6.
This is obviously not the case given that we can work on multiple paths simultaneously. While I'm not at all sure how this can be squared with CG's initial communication about ability to select different paths (you can't). Although you can choose to emphasize one path over others, this is exactly the same as the way that we could select to emphasize bottom or middle in Geo TBs. But that would be a critique of how the TB was described to us, not what the TB actually is.
Given how this TB actually functions, I've got things to do at least through day5. If there's nothing to do on day6 (and this isn't guaranteed) I'll only need r8 toons, not r9 toons, to play all the way through day6.
This is a huge difference in accessibility compared to what appeared to be the case before the RotE was released.
In fairness to myself, after providing my critique (which was, like most, scathing about requiring all-r8 as soon as day4) I did add another post that said that this TB wouldn't be as bad as all that if we could start in one track then move to another so we weren't selecting ONLY LS or ONLY Mixed or ONLY DS for a single TB.
I'm relieved that we're not forced to play only one track per TB, and I can see myself at not much over 9M as ready to play all special missions through p3 in as little as 4 months, and to have at least one r8 squad for each path in the same amount of time, if not less.
I wanted to play the new content, and to not have to work for long before I was able to attempt new things every day. I think it's clear after playing this that I have exactly that. I do not mind at all that it will be a long, long time before I'm fielding full r9 squads in p5 and p6.
(Of course it wouldn't even be THAT long if you stopped releasing new toons that I have to collect, but darn you, you keep doing that...)
Thanks again for your work, and while I still disagree with some things (36 hour phases were really worse than 24 hour phases?) the overwhelmingly negative reaction was focussed on the accessibility of new content to play. Given that we are not locked out of playing new content after day 3, I think most people, if they had the chance to write their criticisms over again, would write something different.
I hope someone tells them that their detailed post with the platoons for each planet are all upside down-not to mention I already found an error in Corellia 6-3 where the game asks for a TIE/IN and the post has a Scythe in its place.
In light of @MasterSeedy 's great retrospective on his initial take, I decided I wanted to do the same for myself.

I definitely don't hate it. I'm... reasonably satisfied. I like the themed combats. It's a refreshing break from Geo. I like the idea that it could receive updates to keep it fresh. I like that the Reva mission seems pretty doable with the requirements listed. I think the first 3 zones of CMs are tuned appropriately. There are problems and concerns that I have with it, but I think TB3 the good outweighs the bad.

No change in opinion here. Haven't seen a rewards crate yet, so there's still hope.

Wordy and not relevant to my retrospective.

For this one, looks like we'll just have to let the whales tell us what works and do as we're told. As someone else put it, this is hardly "playing", it's just following orders like mindless drones.
I'm still very annoyed by the arbitrary relic gates. But, as the CMs are tuned through Zone 3, I feel like I needn't worry so much about what will/won't work.

Still annoyed by these. Hondo on Cantina does nothing to help me. I still need the droids, who are on hard nodes, and Sana, who isn't farmable yet. It's effectively a signal data tax, imo.

I completely agree, I can’t believe I’m saying this but I want more hard node farms. It’s annoying cause I need to farm krasantan to get Jabba on cantina, but also need to farm relic mats so it’s holding me back.

On hard nodes it will be a Kyro tax. With Hondo on a 8 cantina we can use him much earlier, especially because he doesn’t need the other prerequisites to be playable.

Kyro economy isn't nearly as rough as signal data in my neck of the woods.
And use Hondo for what, exactly? Keep in mind, even if you gave me a 7* right now, I can't spare the SD, so he'd be stuck at r1.
And I'd wager those with a bigger kyro crunch aren't eager to G13 such a meh toon.
