To unlock whatever exclusive hero, or even some chromium exclusive heroes, the shard exchange ratio will probably be big. 10:1 or 15:1 or more. Leia, QGJ, etc, are really good, and should be hard to get.
To exchange shards for the farmable, but harder to aquire heroes (Anakin, Ima, FOTP) should only be a 5:1 ratio, maybe even a 10:1 if the exclusive heroes have a higher ratio. These heroes aren't exclusive, they just don't have fast farming areas. The shard exchange could be a good way to get a few extra shards for then a day, from farming easier to aquire heroes from GW or Arena.
