Nope not the same person, thats like saying ahsoka from episode 1 of clone wars cartoon is the same as rebels/mandalorian ahsoka. The character has gone throw so much by this time it is a diffrent characters, and even vader himself has said in canon that he is now much more powerful than he was before the injuries
