After all, many might spend six (or however many) months grinding and farming for someone, and then CG just releases a $10 pack that more or less invalidates that six months of work (at least, there’s opportunity cost there where you could’ve been farming for something else in those six months).
Again, I love the packs. But I can 100% empathize with people who likely would’ve focused on other farming plans if they had known these packs would be coming down the pipeline. I think it’d be nice if CG were to clarify what these packs may mean for the future so the playerbase can plan better accordingly.
I say if you are worried about, farm newest stuff and wait on the old.
If farming for an older one just hoard it all until you have everything ready to go, check the timing, add a couple of weeks before dropping it all.
At this point there is no telling what the cadence for these packs will be, hopefully they come out and say something.
This would be smart cause it would mitigate the "I just farmed x gl and now this drop" complaints, won't stop them cause people are what they are.
I think they turned out great, I also have a feeling they will double the price and maybe add a few more "goodies" going forward, as they did the marquee packs.
