You didn't find Chewie's event easy to farm for? No relics need, BH would've been 7*, same goes for 3PO.

Ya but how long ago did Chewie and C3P0 come out? Then when they did there was a ton of complaining on here about how difficult it was and RNG dependent. That’s because players were wanting to go in and have an easy time with under geared chars.

OMG they are releasing a char that can’t be gotten with a few swipes of a credit card let’s all revolt because they are making us play the game.

I do understand the frustration of not having anything new to play IN the game and feel it also. Have said it before about the Stun Gun bottle neck that keeps us from getting a bunch of chars to g12 still. Along with older chars needing a power boost. But to complain about the requirements for this one ... MEH.

My main point is that theres no new toons meeded for this. And a lot of people have most of them well geared. Obviously the rolo and capn Han are trash so no one has them geared but are they worse than rose tico or resistance pilot? Not by a mile. At least we finally get to use wampa for something now that theres so many other teams that are better for soloing the haat. The worst part about this event is the timing by far. If cg didn't suck so bad maybe they would see that

Can’t agree more. The reqs are very ok. The timing is very bad. They should’ve released him in the place of GLs and the GLs now. Makes Much more sense.

I'm not upset about the requirements. They are to be expected by this time. Certainly all veteran players have all the required toons at 7*. I'd argue that unless your a Kraken, you probably have Cholo and Rolo sitting at like g8/9 since that's all you would need them to be and Lando probably stopped at 11 (since that was about gear level that was out the last time he was useful).

One of my biggest gripes (like with Rose) is that if they are going to make characters with bad kits required to be reliced, that they should at a minimum do some sort of touch up on the kit so that these characters can have at least a niche use in some squad or another.

My other gripes being:
1. One of the most iconic character incarnations is not a GL.
2. He will not be meta (due to the GL limitations in his kit).
3. Can't be combined with OR or Kam Jedi in TB to form a viable 4/4 squad.
4. Doesn't synergize with all his friends from the movies he was in.
5. Is not a reward for an Endor/Throne Room raid.

They can’t make JKL a GL because that would take away from Rey - Disney’s symbol girl power Mary Sue princess.

The only one I have a gripe with is Wampa. I’ve been stashing GET currency for Malak and GAS. I just finished Malak and am just about 6* for GAS. I either have to wait significantly longer than I’d like to in order to get JKL or hold off on GAS for a while. Realistically, I can’t get both in the next 6 months, and that sucks because it’s out of my control. I can’t farm them any other way, so even if I put all my resources into every other character and have them ready next go around, I’ll be stuck on Wampa

You can farm 20 shards of wampa in Galactic bounty, it’s not much but make it a little easier

Yeah that’s where I do it. I’m at 40/85 at 5* so doubt I’m gonna get there though

For the first time? Not, second? Maybe, depends on how your guild do in TB and your malak/GAS farm. Third? Probably. As a f2p unlock at the second or third is normal. Of course that with crystals you can by refresh from the event and can speed up the farm. But it’s not that bad, the timing is very bad.

Complaining about the kit I can understand, complaining about timing I can understand, complaining about the other things I listed I can understand, but complaining about the requirements ... nope don’t understand that.


Wampa and Hoda both were strong chars when they came out oh so long ago and were hid behind GET 1 so they couldn’t be purchased right away and needed to be farmed for. This is more of that.
