There are a lot of valid complaints about the way they run this game. I get that they need to make money, but the way they do it is borderline unethical. The marquee releases are kind of a sham. A rare amount of players will lucky with a 300 shard pull, but most people will end spending between $200-400 to take them to 7*. That kind of nonsense really preys on people who have gambling tendencies or poor impulse control
Then they have a tendency towards power creep with each new release, and they do very little to balance these characters with older ones. A whale could spend several thousand dollars on this game, but if they stopped spending regularly several months ago they can find themselves behind the curve now
