Shard shop has been a pretty valuable place to increase character star progression...Baze, Nihilus, ATF, its been very worthwhile. I mean if marquee characters would go to GW/Cantina/arena that would be amazing, but shard shop helps supplement their farming with whatever node or fleet/guild spot they are put in.
