Would you mind presenting the "trend" you are referring too, because the game goes up and down as all others do. Siting a high and a low, does not make a trend.
December 2018 to august 2019 is a trend and last 2 months reverses that trend. It's not a simple up-down noise.
Your argument for it not being up and down is that it went down and up?
No. There's a more widespread trend this year then monthly up-downs, that's what a trend means, no? How this will flesh out is yet to seen.
Ok, but on almost any graph you can pick an arbitrary time frame that shows whatever you want. But you really didn't even do that well since (as you even pointed out) it already recovered in the last 2 months (i believe that's called trending up).
I did mention it in the first message you quoted. It's not like we are talking about a natural phenomena with infinite complexity. We all know the underlying events in any given period and things correlate pretty well with those.
So the uptick in the last 2 months don't count because we know why it happened?
I have no idea what your point is. You posted a graph with ups and downs and a nearly flat overall trend, and you're trying to convince us it's not?
I have no idea what your point is either. What did I say to convince anyone of anything? See the first post in the topic. If there's a narrative I'm pushing it's that the game is not dying despite the recent common belief that many blindly propagates.
Ok. I can agree with that. Just wasn't understanding the "trend", but it's all good.
Merely contracting the same data to quarters makes the trend more noticable.
REVANue was higher than RELICnue,
Considering they had their second biggest day ever and still income is down proves that spending is falling off.
Imo... With the new standard being $1,000 or more for a character a large majority of the people who spend 20 or 50 bucks here and there have given up, quit or gone f2p, on trying to compete because the value these players get for their investment is so small...
f2p outside the top 100 are still farming away at getting their first r7 character while others have multiple teams at r7, this gap is several thousand dollars and without spending there is not a way to bridge the gap. In the past (imo) the thing that made this game fun for everyone was p2w had a small advantage but f2p could keep up after 2 or 3 months they got the new meta on second unlock then it changed, now some people have rosters that are thousands of dollars and years ahead of f2p and that makes the game less enjoyable and discourages the 20 and 50 buck investments.
I'm f2p for the past 3 years (save for an $8 gear pack a few months back, which I have since atoned for) - I have 2 R7 characters (and 1 R6 - and several R3-5), finish 1st in arena and top5 in fleet daily. While I appreciate your concern for us f2p players, I can assure you, we are keeping up just fine.
You only have a r7 because your finishing, 1st in arena daily, and have been for years. Without that $35 a week you wouldn't have a r7 toon.
Signal data is an easy cantina farm. The accompanying gear is easy - and you only really have to make a choice at R7 (R1-R3 are basically free and R4-R6 all have at least 1 "easy" option). Any f2p player who is focusing on relics has at least 1 R7 by now. And if they're not focused, that's just poor choices.
Sure the best f2p can. I never disputed that f2p cant get a r7. if they are top of arena and ships making 500 to 900 Crystal's a day and can afford refreshes for cantina daily... f2p can have several r7 by now if this is them.
people at ranks 200 300 400 arena ranks aren't able to refresh cantina 3x a day, most rosters dont have a r7 if you look at ranks 100 to 200 and dont base your decision based on f2p in the top 50.
Theres no point tho, if aomeone didnt get it the first 3 times I said f2p outside the top 100 dont have r7 and keep arguing sure they can they get 500 and 400 crystals a day as f2p.
If people are finishing in ranks 200-400, it's not because they suddenly dropped 300 spots when relics were released. It's more likely because, as a f2p player, they aren't focused. Incidentally, fleet also awards crystals. But there too, you have to be focused.
Oh and just to be clear, to get my first R7, which I had weeks ago, I refreshed cantina once on Sundays. That's it. The only time I've refreshed cantina in the last several months was when the Galactic Chase started. All the rest of my signal data came from normal cantina energy +45 free/day. That's all I have spent cantina energy on since relics dropped. It has nothing to do with refreshing. And everything to do with focused resource allocation/management.
Do you even read what you type just to see if actually sounds like a cohesive thought? Or just make stuff up as you go?

That wasn't my point, I specifically meant low arena standing f2p should have gotten at least 1 r7 if they had such a focus. If one allocates their resources elsewhere or simply distributes relic progression it won't happen ofc.

Maybe the same guys wont spend that much in the future if they think they don't get usable "value" for their investment
But the truth might just be that they pay whatever anyways And to compensate the income loss from some raging whales cg will just up the bar for events even more because they pay whatever
And with relics being such a success for a reason that I cant understand we can all look forward to a relic level increase in before the next big event and maybe new mod levels
So after all cg ups their income but is it really "good" for anyone at the end? We will know in a while ;)
Do you know what the bottom line means?
It means nothing you said matters.
Agreed, as long as the moves to increase said bottom line don't cause the game to fade away. 13m is nuts, but if that cuts down the remaining lifespan by a few months was it worth it? We shall see

The person putting down all the data of game's lifetime on reddit doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. I think previous month was a 7m$ total.
What do "visibility" and "internationalization" even mean? Something like, how well they are marketing themselves and expanding? If you know what these terms mean exactly, could you explain please?

You can check -sensor tower-. Don't know the other one.
"Visibility Score is our proprietary measure of how visible an app is in keyword searches and chart rankings for a particular country. There are several other inputs that are also included in the calculation, but search and chart rankings are the primary components. "
