Omicron idea: Darth Vader

None of them have abilities like Merciless Massacre where you can take as many turns as there are enemies. The turn meter boosts generated by IT, Mon Mothma, and others can be mitigated. MM can really only be screwed up if you accidentally hit someone who is taunting that doesn’t have Merciless Target.

If you see people under MM and IT constantly attack, it’s more due to them being constantly called to assist by multiple abilities.

2) Even if he did, your Omicron idea may end up generating Darth Vader never ending TM and continual moves.

1. After "you know what" series he does need it. And he needed this boost after nerf. Darth Vader should be comparable to GL, Omicrons help with that.
2. AI are not smart enough to utilize it perfectly to create a loop. And even if they (rarely) do, there are currently counters to it as well, that just means people should use use other teams wisely.
3. And if people use him on offense to defeat some GLs - it will be the best.

Darth Vader is one of the most accessible characters. Because he is, he never will (and should never) have a reworked kit that brings him to GL status.

A potential never ending TM loop is not what this game needs. Then you’re adding Stagger? Don’t forget people will invariably find ways to exploit this (read Emperor Palpatine’s leadership ability…)

He is the most iconic character in all SW. He is not farmable in nodes but through achievements, some event drops, etc. So no, he is not one of the most accessible. Omicron abilities are not that accessible either.
For never-ending loop you need to kill characters and even with Death Mark from another omicron it won't be in first turn. Ofc, thіs includes that his enemies are not resistant to percent damage(which DM is), they don't have something preventing TM gain or resistant to debuffs, won't have foresight. There are teams that can counter this. Some Mara Jade has potential to have never-ending TM loop. So? Did that Make Starkiller unkillable?
Starkiller is pretty accessible, you know? And he is everything you described in your post under Palp with Mara Jade.

They can't create a loop...?

But they gain tons of TM. If you won't stop them - they will go in circles

You sure? MM-Katarn-Pao-Scout-Kara. Veers-RT-Piett-Terminator-Stark, Pal-Mara+others it's all about continuously gain TM and run in circles.
Yes, Merciless Massacre depends on enemies. Stun vader, inflict ability block - everything works the same

Well, ok, I change a part with MM.

In Grand Arena: While Darth Vader is in the leader slot and not the ally slot, whenever he defeats an enemy while has Merciless on him - reduce cooldown of Merciless Massacre by 1.

should be alright and close to canon

I thought the idea of omicron is to help some under-used char in certain game mode?

Clearly vader isnt that kind of char.
