Once again, are they incompetent or malicious?

Seriously, neither is good but it’s getting harder and harder to believe CG is simply incompetent.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s my 100% considered opinion that no one there is capable of doing even an adequate job.  I’m forced to look at the same problems cropping up again (we literally just went through this 2 weeks ago) and they don’t have the foresight to fix it ahead of time?  I’m at 33 on both Luke and IG, that’s with thousands of crystals invested not counting what I foolishly wasted on shards but I can’t even come close to beating tier 3.  I’m in the upper middle of the pack from what I’ve seen, a lot of people are still in the mid 20’s on leveling these guys.  I refuse to spend actual cash on any era stuff because that just enables the incompetence.  These feats were originally supposed to be f2p friendly but CG seems determined to make things as painful and difficult as possible.  Is the goal to drive away players?  You guys make it seem like the goal is to take fun out of the game.
