I don't think they would make it any cheaper, its more profit for the same packs for CG after all

Web Store is fine as long as there is incentive to purchase from swgoh store over regular store since I assume you cannot get Google Play points through it and there is also some negative effects of not buying through Apple

For example if mod pack is limit 1 purchase, I guess having another copy available is a good motivator for whales / krakens who want to purchase again but i feel like the target audience is too limited

A cheaper price point or some reward systems need to be there for it to succeed imo

If perhaps the intention is to do away with the ingame store and it redirects you to a website, then I can understand their reasoning, and sure 30% is a huge cut, even if the players dont benefit, that money will be going somewhere more direct than the black hole of apple/play
but it just makes very little sense to why anyone would want to use it at more inconvenience if there is no player benefit, and a probably random 100 guild tokens isnt going to make me be bothered

Ill login to collect the daily free stuff, but as mentioned above, there are no other benefits to purchasing through the webstore at the moment.

If prices are significantly cheaper (lol) or there is a reward system, Id be tempted. But honestly, I dont think Id be incentivized to spend anymore on this game. My whalings this year have brought me nothing but frustration as I whaled on the wrong stuff for little return (Inqs and Prof) and a worse time in GAC xD

Until we end up getting stuff we actually want I probably wont support the game anymore through monetary means.

I wonder if this is their way to make back some of the money they have not been pulling in like they used to. I know many people like myself that have not spent a penny since datacrons.

Even if they are making as money as they used to, having an option to make 30% more in all future purchases for the same price point, is always something any business will take
