@Xenith if they do as you are suggestion people will still have a bunch of mods farmed before they nerfed the drop rate. The only way to level the playing field is to reset and start fresh.
However, I like @GeorgeRules 's suggestion. Every player should get bonus energies to make up for all the lost days and enough crystals to refresh a few character shard nodes to make up for lost farming days.
