Order 66 failure

One of the worst parts of this announcement was CG stating that pirates would be a usable faction in the new raid, while denying common place teams like, as an example, the original clone team, or LV or even the original bad batch. It’s their way of monetizing the game and bringing in revenue, but at the cost of guilds who functionally will not be able to do this and will be stuck on Naboo.

Ive been a part of this game for five years, watching the highs of wacky team comps to the middle ground of light speed bundles, to even the low of now teams being built with zero flexibility and practically broken (needing massive fixes or whole new teams to make them relevant).

My issue, even with Naboo, was gatekeeping the first 6 months for the highest spenders or those able to hoard as much crystals while the bottom wrung will have next to nothing to be able to run the raid. It will cause many guilds to simply unravel and more importantly push the gulf between whales and conservative spenders. It’s ridiculous that it also makes no logistical sense.

As the meme goes, I love it when Hondo came in and stopped Anakin from killing those younglings, we all remember that right? Or when the Cavalry showed up to save the day and defeated the Empire….while we all remember when Tarkin led a bunch of rag tag clones into the heart of the Temple to stop the traitorous Jedi….its just silly that we have to have super specific teams and that the classic teams that could allow people to be competitive were suspiciously left off…

  • The Pirates are looking for Lightsabers and Holocrons to sell on the Black Market; remember the Clone Wars episode where Hondo boarded a Jedi ship to plunder Lightsaber Crystals and later formed an alliance with Ahsoka and the Younglings?
