Speaking as the leader of his guild. I would have to say that I would take 50 people who "cannot manage a button" over one person who takes the time to kick someone when they are down. There was no need for that, your statement belittles the whole community, including yourself.- LadyVampire_XRetired HeroIt's already done and it's dark humor because we all can see the pain in this
But sure we can pander to PC emotions or point out that you should not press this button if your an officer or leader which is not the entire guild, because you can blow up the hopes and dreams of your people like rogue squadron on the empires insurance policy coverage
PSA
Don't press that red abandon button
Better? :) "Vampire_X;398426" wrote:

You're an insensitive jerk. There, was that sufficiently "unPC" for you?
I've been involved in computer system and software design for over 30 years. Everyone knows that you do NOT put buttons that can cause massive loss (hours of work in this case) right next to buttons that you press routinely.
This is THE most basic of UI principles, it is User Interfaces 101.
Get it straight:
1. Many people have done this.
2. THERE IS NO REASON TO HAVE THIS BUTTON THERE WHEN THERE IS TONS OF ROOM ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE WINDOW.
3. In case you missed it the first time, you're a jerk.
Sorry, I have had my fill of ignoramuses whose only response to any situation is "haha your fault". Go take a hike.- LadyVampire_XRetired HeroIt's been posted and reported several times and Skye linked a recent post from April 27th
thanks for offering a hike though ;) but it was still funny but if your over 50 yrs old and still this angry over gaming I'm sorry I ruined your night :( - Yay. Great. You can't understand why you don't put the self destruct button in an often choppy, stuttering interface ( ever have a GW or an arena match stall? Yeah, that..) next to the continue button?
You're either being willfully obtuse or .. Well, let's just go with willfully obtuse, the rest will come off as a personal attack.
As for " don't repeat it" that's how things get noticed and attended to, when enough people say " hey, this wasn't your brightest move". God forbid a product is criticized for poor design, right? I mean heck, let's just store the bleach and the ammonia in two similar buckets next to each other on a loose surface too while we're at it. We wouldn't want to appear to be too PC, right? Never mind when you post in the thread " hey this COULD happen as opposed to a thread where ' Hey, this DID happen'l.
Finally, " Too PC" was never an excuse to throw logic and reason out the window when a point is raised. It's not going to a " safe place" to raise logical, viable concerns when 80 + man hours of concerted efforts go to waste because the designer couldn't be bothered to use foresight. To quote Inigo Montoya: " I do not think that means what you think it means". - Either way whether a bug glitch or unwilfull accident it's an issue that should be addressed by EA. As its a poor location for performance of intended use by anyone. What ever range of players in a guild, a raid still carries a certain value in time and resources to that guild in being able to perform these type of raids. Not only just a lose in rewards, but personal gratification. But where eve there is a bug or glitch there are some people will use to exploit its value. You ask what value could be in abandonment? I say this for the price of (X) guild currency your guild could have a second stab at a tier 7 raid with a fresh roster of characters for every member of your guild. That is how guilds can take advantage of this bug, glitch, or error. How is that fair for any one guild performing for better rank standings. I say that is how a weaker guild could compete with top legit teams doing the work. Out sucker all the suckers I say. Game on.
