You are all being kind of dumb. It's a stupidly broken ship and you all know it. Will they change it? Almost certainly not. Eventually some other ships will work well against it. Unfortunately, what is most likely the best ship in the game requires the hounds tooth to get. Maybe the emperor's command shuttle, which everyone is supposed to be able to easily get, will help.
