Just started a few weeks ago..most of them are 5 star, only two need a lot more shards. Been farming them a week. Not enough time
Week? I am doing for 5 weeks. 3 7 stars, two are 6. It is hard to do it from zero.- Typically, it seems, double drops are only done for legendary events the first time the legendary event comes around. They probably figure other players that missed it the first time could have been slowly farming the characters since then to be ready this time.
Double drops are typically another source of income for them, since there is such a short time frame from the announced requirements and the events, people purchase to spend crystals on refreshes for double drops. If people have been farming them slowly from the first time the event came around, double drops would just allow you to easily top off without having to buy extra refreshes for it. - crazyhynter8 years agoSeasoned Ace

No such thing as Panic Farm for this event. A panic farm is when you don't know the requirements, or you learn about them like a week prior to the event - the first time an event appears. After that you have plenty of time to farm everybody to 7*.
You had plenty of time? How much time did You need?
I finished farming Hera about a month ago. Of course we should take into consideration that between June and October I was also farming 4 or 5 different heroes from the Cantina, some had stars, some I began farming from the zero. In those 4 months I managed to get both Hera and Ezra who are from a Cantina Node, I also managed to get everyone else but Chopper(simply because I don't have Cantina currency to waste) to 7* and g8. In my opinion 4 months are more than enough for anybody, even if they had Phoenix at 0*, 0 shards, to farm them all up to 7*. "Dretzle;c-1296575" wrote:

So You had plenty of time. I hadnt. I didnt play for long time. No PheoniX. Zero . 35 days of farming for now. It is not possible in this time to have them all 7 stars. I had very good Rng more than 40% in Cantina. Hera almost seven. Ezra 6.- At that time I used the double drops and barely reached 5 stars for the Phoenix toons (did not get Thrawn).
Since then, maybe we had other priorities tu use cantina energy (and so Hera and Ezra are still not ready): Old Ben for CLS event, First Order Officer for BB-8, Captain Han for TB, mods (!!!), maybe Finn to build a good resistance team... - crazyhynter8 years agoSeasoned Ace

Guess what, many people had 1 week to farm them when Thrawn was announce. Many people had 1 week to farm Empire if they didn't have it when R2 was released, many people had 1 week to farm Rebels for EP. You're not different. You won't get him or won't have him at 7* now. You will get him next time he appears. - braskme8 years agoSeasoned AceEven if they gave you double drops, there's still that pesky G7 that you need to get by for Phoenix, where they all need roughly the same gear (mk3 holos, mk3 cabs, mk8 taggeco). Seems the devs got a bit bored doing all 6 and just copy-pasted their gear slots :)
That's the main barrier to anyone trying to get 6-7* Thrawn. - crzydroid8 years agoHero (Retired)

For all the people who haven't been playing that long...you shouldn't expect to get a Legendary right off the bat. When I started playing and Yoda was every month, should they have had Jedi double drops my second week because I had to "panic farm" for him?
The point of this post revolves around whether this, the second appearance of the Thrawn event, constitutes a panic farm and whether there should be double drops. Since it has been on the radar for four months, I'd say no. If you are a new player who wasn't around last time, then you should expect a while longer before you get him anyway. He will only return with increasing frequency. "Crazylazyguy;c-1296608" wrote:

I will have him. There is no other option for this. Next time I wont be playing anymore. I already planned to take next break:)
