Perseverance is broken
Don't pick up the perseverance data disk as it is currently broken or the text is written incorrectly. Your units will only assist once until they take a turn, then they can assist again. I have submitted a bug report for this already here if you want to look at it.

Before you say it is working correctly. I also address that it isn't working as written by comparing it to Mission Voa's unique. Both text for the disk and her unique are word for word in the bug report
So pretty much you will get a 30% damage reduction for barely any additional assists.
