Piping hot "Poe-rage"

Everyone seems pretty upset with the following changes:
1. Speed system of determining first player to go
2. Poe stats (-2 speed and tenacity nerf)
3. the ability to resist speed reduction
4. Poe expose ability

The combined effect of these changes makes Poe take a big step back.

Which aspect is the worst?

Isn't he still better than the other tanks? I mean some are very VERY bad.

Does anyone still plan to use him?

I currently have a Poe, and I am really on the fence about taking him past 70 when allowed... I was just wondering what everyone thought.

  • I really, really empathise with you. But... Can you please continue in the other dozens of threads saying the same.
  • 5. The fact that out of all of that they only told us about half of #2.

I was hoping that the questions at the end of the post could get answered to see what other people think about the future of this toon.

He's still the best tank. That's not saying much as apart from Han, who's second best, all the others classified as tanks are really far behind. Some people have used Chewy to high top 50s so I won't say they're not worth it but all the rest of the tanks are way behind.

I'm using him at 4 stars and a half(thank you, release notes) sometimes depending on the opponents and I'll still use him seeing not everyone is up to date on the meta. That choice will depend on your roster strength and your particular server.

I'm sorry I didn't reply in a more constructive way earlier, but all these Poe threads are getting on my nerves. I'm a against Poe guy who went to Poe cos the release notes to a he's been nerfed too badly player but I still think, oh no, not another Poe thread.
  • I am planning on keeping Poe up to current level because I think there will be a time in which he comes back around. The current use of Poe to allow a team to load up with glass cannons is for sure done, but I can't help but feel that if they get the damage to HP ratio in better line, tanks will be back.
  • I will let you in on a secret... Yes, you will want to take Poe past 70. Because when the level cap increases past 80 and into 90 territory, QGJ will increase speed of all allies, returning Poe to a first turn taunt/turn meter reduction character and we're back at square one Poe staple on all teams. That's assuming CG does nothing in the mean time to change the speed/damage meta. Turn meter reduction being resistible is another slight nerf to future Poe.
  • I still see a heavy dose of Poe in my top 10, I don't think this is going to change.
