They are divisive, unfair and make absolutely no sense to me at all.

Weren't there character gifts specific to your device? I'm on a Samsung and got an IG-86 at the start. I thought it was cool and immediately thought of what other characters Apple device's would have gotten. I have gotten used to being shunned for not having a particular type of device because I mainly used a Kindle before my Samsung. You can't even get this game on a Kindle's modified Android operating system. Now that is something to think about. And on my daughter's Android, a something-or-other-free-from-Verizon-gift-from-Grandma, she didn't get any type of free character to begin with. I'm pretty sure as someone pointed out, these "perks" are a form of gratuitous advertising from the companies, in this case Google and in my case Samsung.
Now I'm curious whether there was a free character given to Apple Device users. Did anyone get one?
Nope no free toon you guys got the Samsung starter pack also all I got was dark side starter but like you say it's apples fault for not advertising the game really or androids for been clever

I don't think all the games that are part of Google Play Month are EA games. I have a feeling they picked top selling games that draw the most money/player base to their play store.

I think we all understand that. The other truth is that this alienates half the playerbase. So it seems like you're the one trying to avoid the truth and logic. But keep defending these multibillion dollar companies. I'm sure they appreciate it lmao
If customers aren't satisfied with a provider whether it be gaming industry, cell/tv/internet provider, restaurant, etc then they should show that by not giving money and time to said providers anymore.
That is why we're expressing our opinions, to dissuade easily manipulated people to stay away from the Venus flytrap, so to speak
