I not only disagree with "no more flash events", I think they should expound upon the idea.
The thing that paying should save you is time. There should be more things to do for people that have more time to spend on the game.
They should have some things around that reset their cooldowns every hour or 2 hours so that people can actually have a chance to compete against money with time.
