Please Just Stop with Royal Guard

You're not the first person I've seen call it the Red Guard instead of Royal Guard. Folks that call it the Red Guard aren't native English-speakers, which makes me wonder--does the name translate to Red Guard in some other language?

For example in French it's often called "Garde Rouge" or in German " Rote Garde" , but the exact translation for "Royal guard" is used at least equally often. I think it's just a matter of what you are used too and then you just take the direct translation of your most frequently used variation.
