I agree. They should remove all teams that utilize any mechanics besides just dealing damage. No critical hits, no buffs, no debuffs, no turn meter manipulation, no mechanics that make your little brain hurt
Tm manipulation is not the same as repeat gain. for example the IR DC normally, Moff can remove but with his wordy l9 he just spams special and keeps gaining mass tm that should never have been added or approved it is just terrible design. the issue is there should never be a defense Meta in a game like this because there is 0 live aspect. attacker should always be the meta and teams should always have at least 3 counters and make it require baiting certain teams early like it used to be. there is almost no skill now if you use those three digits from grandma's credit card versus before Dc's
Datacrons were added to the game four years ago, and after trying to decipher your post it sounds like you were very likely not even born at that point so I really don't think their addition impacted you that much
