second GC, still the same thing.
The unrepentant paywalling on the GC have turned something fun into something utterly disgusting.

Please correct your course. this is one a of the game i have played the longest, broke the free player standing by treating me to a LS bundle last year and had hoped for something nice for christmas.
Now the game looking like a rusted nail : you can still get a use of it, but you have to think twice.

Do something, and do it well or you will kill a hen that can still produce eggs....

These pass are not just pricey, they are over the top. I could buy 6 streaming services a month for one pass. Even WOW is only 13 a month

If there was a problem to be addressed with this update was the grand arena and guild battles matchmaking. They could have fixed that and create a more competitive environment, pushing more players to get involved into the squad set up and strategies to win. 

What they did? Basically, as if they were not already pushing enough on monetizing by releasing every 2 weeks a new squad basically unlockable if not by paying and with a non sense strength compare to the Star Wars real saga, they have now state: you pay you grow, no money get bored trying.

I'm playing this game since probably 5 years, and I've even spent some money on it sometimes to boost my farming.....never been closer to quit than now.

I HATE the new updates. 

I've been playing this game pretty much from the beginning, Teebo was the big get when I started. I'm thinking about leaving this game.

Here is why:

1. the event updates. To get the full awards for the galactic events require you to BUY the lasted and greats character shards.  This game use to be a good mix of those who pay to win and free to play. I know EA needs to make money on this, but this is gone too far.  
2. Also no earn able shards after 7 stars? What's up with that? It was a nice "free" shards grab to convert.
3. I'm not thrilled with the new quest interface, but that is just a personal opinion.

Mostly its this concept of having to pay for an episode pass, and character shards to keep up with the grind. 

This new update furthers the gab between free play and pay to win. Free grind is hard enough and takes time, but with this new setup it will take even longer. Totally takes the fun out of it.

We want to get those quest done, we want build up and earn gem stones. At this rate it makes it not worth it. I've paid a few times, but this "force" payment makes me want to stop playing.

EA in general is on a nosedive towards catastrophic failure. All of their games are doing terrible this year and they are losing money left right and center. So what do they do.....more paywall! GC paywall is an absolute shame. The previous setup was pretty good.

Omicron shift is tough. They have now made it the hardest to grab.

Episode guide locked within the marquee character...what is this nonsense? You have to spend $20 to unlock episode track, $$ to unlock conquest, then more money to unlock marquee character. You would be like $300 in the hole just to be in line to unlock all rewards. That is criminal. 

Check yourself before you wreck yourself

We had a saying “EA Sports! It’s in the trash!”

Now that I've played enough after the first update - my impression is way less dire than at first. I've actually gotten more omicrons and the update isn't as onerous as it seemed.
