Pondering Raids
First I would like to say my guild is a wide variety of players from the first time in a guild to members that have been around since the beginning. I have noticed that while we have been waiting for the new raid and still building for the current featured raid We have been getting a lot of requests for the earlier raid not for the rewards but just to experience the raid. Well it got me to thinking why not have a rotating featured raid (including MK3 currency(scaled for the earlier raids of course)) This will have a few effects
- the older members will still get some MK3 currency making them more likely to run older raids.
- the newer player base can experience the Raids.
- Unless you remove the older raids completely it will bring some life back into something the game built that has been forgotten about for the most part.
My guild just ran the Sith raid and while I crushed the raid I just did not post the score allowing the new members to try it out, but the memories of how much I struggled to figure out how to beat that raid were so much fun it kind of brought some new life into this old player. Anyone else feel this way or just me. Oh well just pondering something while drinking morning coffee.
