It doesnt cost 3000 crystals to get from relic 5 to 7. You are seriously not managing your resouces well if you had to do that and its certainly not an error on CGs part.
The way around these kind of mistakes is to organise your roster and have sections for farming etc- this is quite definitely a you issue.
