Possible new GAC mechanic

Exhausted. MSF has a mechanic in their “GAC” called exhaust. It weakens the enemy team by a % stat decrease for each battle played against it ( cancelling the battle doesn’t count). I think that this mechanic would fit well here as we have powerhouse teams that have iffy counters. This would allow players to eventually break through a zone, or finish a zone off at the cost of spending teams to battle. It’s not a great feeling to be completely blocked by a single team because the counter failed. Thoughts?

  • Why would that work poorly? The idea was to let you break through rather than get stuck, which is exactly what you suggest will happen.

    Sounds to me like it would work well. You can easily relic gate to activate the exhaust and have higher points losss etc to balance.

    Just make the penalty for each battle deduct more points to the point where after 4 or 5 battles (enemy team weakened by 40%or 50%) the battle is worth zero points. The entire reason for this mechanic is so you won’t get stuck, and have a chance to battle on, but with the cost of points. Some people’s counters work perfectly, while some get the bad side of RNGesus.

    After playing this first round, I am once again reminded that there are stupid teams that can completely ruin GAC.....exhausted would help in my opinion, ESPECIALLY since we have really stupid datacrons.
