With Rebel Pilot already in the game, it seems such a shame that it's not already playable, especially since its antithesis the TIE Pilot is.
The Rebel Pilot could become assigned to pilot the existing Y-Wing or if not then any other future Rebel ships like the A-Wing, B-Wing, H-60 Tempest bomber, T-Wing, Rebel ARC-170 etc.
My kids would love if Rebel Friend joined the holotables.
Sadly, Rebel Friend currently only exists in Lego so unless he appeared in the main continuity much like with R0-GR who first appeared in LEGO The Freemaker Adventures, I doubt it. However, the Rebel Trooper which Rebel Friend is based on already appears as an NPC in SWGOH so it would be cool to finally have him as playable.
The B-wing is a good choice for rebel pilot. Or A-wing. As far as I can remember they appear as NPCs in the millennium falcon event.
I know there are specific designs though to A-Wing and B-Wing pilots as we see in RotJ but who knows. Personally, I would prefer they add the Rebel Pilot as the Y-Wing's pilot.
They can't add it as Y-Wing's pilot or else everyone's Y-wing gets a nerf from the first day of the marquee event until either they buy it or a few weeks after it becomes farmable.
If you thought ppl screamed cash grab way too often, just wait until you see what happens when they nerf an integral part of a near-meta fleet and make you pay to use it without waiting months.
That's just not going to fly.
Okay then, instead of the Y-Wing, which ship do you think the Rebel Pilot would be suited for?
Hard to say. I know another X-wing would be seen as boring, but I think it's gotta be a ship flown by an orange-suit in the movies. If the A-wing pilots wore orange suits, I'd give him one of those, but I'd have to check the movie footage.
If you use a Y-wing, I'd make it a new version, non-tank, that's primarily a missile ship. Give it a special with true damage and a way to do extra damage to tanks.
I wouldn't use a B-wing. That's a crew of two, and you might as well do something different with them.
I honestly don't want "Rebel Pilot" in the game.
IMO the only "Generic" things I like seeing for the most part are the vast unnamed Storm/Clone Troopers.
I'd love a Rebel A-Wing for Profundity & a Rebel B-Wing for HomeOne but they can both be Crewless IMO.
Rebel Hero's need names, we have plenty still in canon.

I want to see all of those characters too. I think a few generic characters are good to have as support units like we already have with the B1 and the Scout Trooper.

Captain Drogan (If he's made up then he's generic, just my opinion, this really should have been one of the officers above)
Like I said above, if it's Named Pilots then that is cool, but for "Generics" that is what the Crewless function is for, IMO.
IMO the biggest things Rebels need right now is more Ships & a Profundity rework.
(They gotta fix the TM issue & the Falcon/RavenClaw synergy)

I really would love to see those 3 added to the current 10 for 13 with room for 1 more in the future.
