The amount of players that unlock Jyn will remain the same, regardless of how many points everyone can acquire. So setting a weak defence only makes the chance you're getting Jyn smaller, since more players will be able to acquire alot of points.

It doesn't make sense to not set your strongest defense possible.

It makes no difference honestly.

Actually it does make sense. If you set a strong defense, your opponents have less opportunity to get max points in the battle. This helps preserve your rank as you're not "losing" as many points per battle. But please, continue to set your weak squads. It helps me out
