The point @Tigzie was getting at, as I understood it anyway, wasn't the trouble of building the new character, but rather how big a setback it would be for a low roster player - f2p or newbie - to lose a character in the upgrading. If you only have five 7* characters and to prestige would make you drop down to four... that's a pretty significant hit to your roster. Yeah, I think it would need to be an in addition to thing rather than a trade one for the other thing.
Sorry, but even if we keep old character I still don't like it. First there should be a new logic to allow farm just if it is unlocked and second we will be full of Luke's and Palpatines... :smile:
