Problems with uploading images

Can you send DMs? I seem to recall you couldn’t due to your age at some point in the past. 

That’s probably the reason, if your account seems to have certain functionality unavailable. 

This was my hypothesis, but wanted to believe it was something else because I still think it's stupid, especially concerning age laws in my own country being 16, not 18 like in America.

Not all age laws are 16, though. Which law specifically are you thinking about that’s 16 here but 18 there?

$$CG$$ probably locked you out of posting anything because meme’s for a long time on the original forum were not allowed. $$CG$$ thinks there BILLION dollar ego is more important than maybe actually doing sh!t right the first time instead of whipping the next bug infested character or untested Datacon out the window for us players to beta test for them.

Pretty much every law about legally doing stuff. I live in England.

I know you live in England, from previous forum interactions. 

I live in Scotland, and I’m baffled by your claim about laws. There are way more laws that require you to be 18 than there are that require you to be 16. You are still considered a child at 16 in UK law. Only once you’re 18 are you considered an adult. 

Be that as it may…it’s literally just picture permissions.

I understand that - but I'd hope someone who is 16 can also understand that there is the potential for problems when people who are legally considered to be children have permission to upload pictures on a public forum. 

I'm sure there are thousands of 16 year olds who would not put themselves at risk posting pictures on an online forum - and you are probably one of them. But there will be some who could, would and have put themselves at risk. 

EA are likely just following guidelines centred on protection of minors here. You can disagree with the rules, but I'm sure you can understand why they are in place.  

I feel your pain with the maximum post stuff. I've fallen foul of that too. On one occasion it was because I reported too many Airline spambot posts in quick succession. 

I’ve actually been careful not to put a specific number on my age, i only said i was at least 16. Internet safety and all that.
