Profundity release

At least we have a date now. Aug 31st. Still no kit reveal which is absolutely fantastic. I dont understand why they dont want to hype up these releases and drop information like that only 1 day before.

I guess they delayed it as they didnt make enough money from the whales ....

Hence the pack releases.. and a date now given!!

A kit would be nice

Bottom line, not enough people have whaled on the requirements so the CG cannot afford to fill their gas tanks. Friendly reminder posted to encourage whaling. Oh yeah, it will beat the Exec, for sure. Spend guppies, spend!

But…will the changes to R8 and R9 required mats change before the event goes live? They also mentioned that awhile ago…an update would have been swell :)

This. If they don't do this update, I don't see myself putting the immense investment into profundity. If Executor can so clearly beat Profundity, it's quite possible that Profundity will be a lot worse on defense than Executor (executor mirrors are awful) so... climbing with current FO or rebel fleets should still be better and executor on defense will be better too. I even have 7 star raddus and outrider but idk if I see the rush.


Oh: where's the kit? Why can't players see yet at least theoretical representation (minus full in-game testing, which showed last time how poorly designed executor was) what they're supposed to be investing in?

Tbh, one main gripe: WHY IS IT A 1-DAY RELEASE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK? Why not on the weekend?

It is the same type of event as Executor, which was released on a Monday initially and the 15th of every month after that. I assume profundity will follow similar cadence of the last day of every month.
