There's still some numerical defense value that toons use which converts into a percentage somehow. SWGOH.gg still has the actual defense values (pre-update). I'm assuming the armor penetration stat just subtracts from those defense values. Either way, that part of the game mechanics is a black box that the devs will likely never reveal (just like potency tenacity calculations).
I thought the % change for armor meant that armor reduces incoming attacks by that %. So 30% armor would reduce a 10k attack by 3k, and a 20k attack by 6k. Am I reading the descriptions wrongly?
