In addition to everything that has already been stated: Now that GAC has been changed and new/er players get matched with old/er players, this just widens the gap even more. How are they supposed to get their roster better to be able to compete against them, if they don't even get the chance to get needed characters? Everyone under 4M GP who gets Kenobi will not have a comparable team?
Seriously, it was already stupid that people in normal got so few shards and there is hardly any incentive to invest in normal/easy mode in Conquest. And now there is even less if CG is telling us that all of us will not be able to get these characters until we have 4M GP and then have to wait 17 months before they are unlocked?!
So when you start playing the game it will take you at least 3 1/2! Years before you have CAT?!
This is absolutely ridiculous!

It shouldn’t take anyone 3-4 years to get to 4m GP, just saying. And yes you will more than likely miss out on newer Conquest characters until you’ve reached the 4m GP threshold required.

4m GP is your goal. Play the game to get there. It’ll be a grind but if you aren’t interested in the reward for that grind, then this game isn’t for you ??‍♂️

It's fine only if CG wants to lose money and move on to their shiny new toy (LotR).

This only makes new players less invested in Conquest and less interested in spending on the game mode (and on the teams the Conquest toons need).

I specially feel bad for all the new players/new accounts going for JMK as a first or second GL (possible if you get in a decent guild).

Nothing we can do now unfortunately - CG doesn't care... All we can do is remember this moment (and the hundreds other) when CG releases their new Lord of the Rings game - let's see how easy it will be for them to build a community behind that game when thousands inform new players on how CG treats their customers

I can't believe that somebody didn't consider the fact that omitting a key requirement for people to access this mode would result in 'frustration' from the community. We have to conclude that they are either incapable of understanding effective communication with customers or that they couldn't care less.

Had they been clear with the requirements from the beginning, people would have been frustrated for sure. However, it would not have been as bad PR wise as players would not have been excited at the prospect of farming a cool/important character. Now those who felt they had a chance at something have it taken from them.

I appreciate mods and staff are likely always going to take the stance that CG is correct and infallible but there comes a point where it is tiring and any sarcasm or potential humour that could be read into it falls short and does not impress.

have you considered that?

There should be Info given out to everyone who plans on farming GL Kenobi and LV and who will be under 4 M GP when they unlock them, that they should not do it because they will not be able to get the Conquest characters for those squads.

For the most part that’s how it feels though you or other mods will downplay what people say and like your comment about 4mil being fine when a vast majority are saying that it’s not fine. Sure there’s stuff you say that you don’t agree with but for the most part it comes across as just agreeing with them to agree with them.

Yes, i may be biased here, since i never played conquest with below 4 million GP but i am free to have an opinion on the issue as much as you do as someone who doesn’t have more than 4M GP

and we can disagree on each other’s opinions though
