Even if this was accepted by the community, why was it not stated on the post announcing proving grounds?

I can't believe that somebody didn't consider the fact that omitting a key requirement for people to access this mode would result in 'frustration' from the community. We have to conclude that they are either incapable of understanding effective communication with customers or that they couldn't care less.

Had they been clear with the requirements from the beginning, people would have been frustrated for sure. However, it would not have been as bad PR wise as players would not have been excited at the prospect of farming a cool/important character. Now those who felt they had a chance at something have it taken from them.

I appreciate mods and staff are likely always going to take the stance that CG is correct and infallible but there comes a point where it is tiring and any sarcasm or potential humour that could be read into it falls short and does not impress.

i happen to think 4M GP requirement is ok, based on my own opinion

I'll ask you again, what justification do you have for this being "fine"? Or are you just being close minded and biased?

You get shards in normal conquest too, doing a 1m GP limit would have made more sense if they were copying conquest properly.

I love how people expect everything to be handed to them day 1. If you can't do something in this game you have two options, pay to get it or grind it out for free. If you are FTP I think it is absurd to ever complain about this game not giving you access to something in the beginning.

What people are actually upset about the the GP requirement that is actually going to stop players from even doing the event even though they have relic 3 teams and we’re doing the normal conquest and able to get CAT shards as well.

I'm f2p my whole time (6years); I have 4.9million gp. You can do it eventually; just not right away. Which is the price we f2p pay; longer waits.

They shouldn't be too far from 4 million GP then, boost up those characters and ships.
