Just FYI while you're planning. In case you didn't notice, CG lowered the Chase drop rate in Cantina from 4% to 3% without notice. If you want a 5* ship from a Chase, you now have to spend the 400 ref...

Well, this issue just got a lot more relevant to the game…
CG still doesn't care. Just gamble with your crystals since you have no way of knowing what the drop rate will actually be.
You don't need to gamble all that much. My plan (for the unlock) is to start with 100 and 2 200 refills and cut back as I'm close to reach the goal. Pretty foolproof in that I won't be doing extra 200s.
What if the Chase is on Fleet but you hoarded Cantina?
