@bolobaby go for it. Nothing OP or anything else is saying is stopping you from pursuing such a strategy. And if that's fun for you that's fine. Do take note however that other people colluding may cost you the few extra hundred crystals a day and not the other way around.
At the top of arena, most people have spent some money on the game and a few extra crystals won't stop someone from being able to beat you. And a dedicated shard chat can not only knock you down but easily collude to shut you out of #1 even if it's not their payout to send a message. I've seen it, have it done against me, and been a part of it. OP is simply providing a public service announcement for what is generally seen as the least antagonistic way to play this game.
