QoL requests...

as a player, it sort of feels like CG randomly cherry picks QoL changes that don’t really resonate with the players... i’m not sure why there isn’t a bit more visibility so that we can upvote the updates we care about?

also, i believe there are many quick wins that the players would love. for starters...

- in Manage guild, allow us to sort by galactic power
- in Manage guild, allow us to sort by weekly raid tickets - this will allow officers to not be forced to check on player participation in the last ten minutes before rollover
- in the mod store, make the currency icons more distinct, it’s easy to mix them up
- allow us to spend 10 bronziums at a time
- in mod challenges, stop giving 3 and 4 star mods at the highest tier, this is insulting
- in arena ranks view, show the entire team - we know 100%of teams are running Thrawn in ships, we want to see the rest of the starting line up
- add another tier to daily challenges that can’t be simmed but gives better gear
- chat is terrible, allow us to just embed discord
- imo, we don’t need a mod management system, we need the root cause solved, which is fix mod drop rates, they are brutal, getting 3 star gray mods on the highest tier is not cool
- in 8nventory mode, allow to sort by zetas
- similar to the training view in 8nventory, but for toons who need gear
- similar to the training view in inventory, but for toons who need ability mats
- s8milar to the training view in inventory, but for toons who need zetas
- add a mode where we can fight our allies/guildmates as practice
- add level 10 to light/dark side battles
- keep a counter of arena defense wins/losses for the day/ week in our own stats view, similar to territory wars

  • Solid list that covers the majority of issues most players would agree with. It would be kind of interesting to have an in-game survey each month where we can maybe vote on 2-3 QoL updates for the team to work on. As for adding LS/DS level 10 I feel that this will be introduced when the level cap gets bumped to level 90.

    We dont really need those:
    - dont see a point in sorting players by GP
    - you can sort DRT already
    - they are distinct enough
    - 3 and 4 star mods can be some time usefull, especially for lower lvl players
    - for the last 4 you can use favorite option to get those toons on top of the roster

    Those are just bad ideas:
    - Reinforcement should not be visible in arena view, part of the fun is finding out what ships enemy has in his/hers reinforcements slots and if the change that then ship arena would be basically the same as squad arena
    - many players complain on how much of their time this game demands already, we really dont need more time consuming chores and dont tell me: "you would not have to do them" becuase we all know that nots true
    - chat got better and im sure it will be better with time. Leting us embed Discord would be nice, but it would take dev time to make it happen, dev time that is better spend on more important things. Plus not everyone uses discord, some people use line or other communication software if they include one then people would want others. Whole thing would be a hot mess, not to mention potenial exploits
    - are you high ?!, we really need management system. Getting shity mods in last tier is a problem, but managing tens or hundreds or mods is huge chore, transfering mods from one toon to another is a chore, looking for a specific mod is a chore and so on
    - adding levels its not QoL, its just adding content

Those i would like to see. They should allow us to buy multiple bronziums or introduce new biger and more expensive(ally points) packs. Counter for arena would be usefull to, it would be nice to know how many people attacked you and how many lost.

  • what if... you had enough good mods that you didn’t have to move them around all the time? that’s the argument i was making, is the only reason people want a mod management system, is because they don’t have enough mods in the first place

if you just had enough solid mods, you wouldn’t move them around like five year olds playing soccer

Problem is that you have to consider whole player base and not just 2y+ players. It takes new players very long time to get good mods and without some kind of mod management system it would take them unnecessary to move them around. Even if you ignore all that, there will be time when they release 6 dot and 7 dots mods.
