We are all struggling with changing mods from one character to another for various events. One thing that wastes a lot of time is just putting all the mods back in place once the event is over. Would...

It's been suggested before, as basically a snapshot of where all your mods are. You can mess around all you want, and then one button puts them all back in place.

How on Earth does that tool deliver what is being requested here?
It saves the configuration of which mod is equipped to which toon in a snapshot and you can update your snapshot. Now you just need a button to reapply this configuration
Ok. I don’t see how that delivers what OP wants. What use is a snapshot if you can’t revert to it after you’ve made changes?
It doesn't deliver but it provides the necessary framework. All CG has to do is to slightly modify it to suit this function (like remove gear levels) and add a reapply/revert button.
Ah, I see what you mean now. You’re suggesting that since the snapshot system is already in game in some form, it should be easy enough for the devs to develop the OP’s requested feature.
