In my one of TB battles this morning I ran QA, MQG, PA, Padme and Snips. Several times the Handmaiden was granted a turn with an ability (screenshot below).
I have never seen this before, and I’m sure QA’s kit says the Handmaiden doesn’t take turns.
What’s going on?
My thought is her "doesn't take turns" is coded as speed=0. So the clone commander is now giving her speed and she can take turns.
My only theory might be that bonus turns don't count as "taking turns"
She definitely has a basic ability in QA's unique
Go back and reread her full kit. Scroll down to the Handmaiden description of her summoning and move set. She takes turns the same as any other unit.
Even the Gungan shield gen takes turns.

There is a way to see the coding, right? I think Scrybe looks at it often in his videos.
It says that she doesn't take turns, not that she can't take turns. It must be something to do with other character effects. Why else would she have a basic ability? I guess someone from CG could explain it better.

My 5th can bounce between General Kenobi, Plo Koon, Kelleran Beq
It took 3 turns in a battle yesterday. I think I had Beq on the team at the time and it was either a boss node or it was a tb node that ran long.
In Conquest I have a Solid Intel disk equipped. It gives 8% tm for each crit received. Since Decoy is the main one getting hit she can gain a lot of tm this way.
When I said "almost every battle" it's probably because I tend to use them in battles that are longer and drawn out. Like as a Jabba counter.
As far as why it's taking turns, I can't really say as I haven't paid enough attention to why it's happening.

In a boss node and a "tb node" are two different things. If it was the same TB planet as this, it would be happening for the same reason.
Decoy gaining tm should in theory not matter. If speed is 0, a unit cannot gain turns, even at 100+% tm. This is why a fractured unit gaining bonus tm still will not go. I think maybe at one time using a turn swap ability like Thrawn's might have circumvented this, but it's been a long time, so I'm not sure if I'm remembering that incorrectly or if it may have been changed since then.
My money is still on the enemy clone commander giving her speed. That guy is always causing shenanigans.
We can’t really see the Clone Commander’s kit, sadly, but I am sceptical that he is the cause. I’m sure I’d have seen it before if he was.
